All players acquired through the draft and frenzy waivers will remain your property throughout the season, unless you trade them.

No, unless those owners want to give up their team voluntarily, and if they do they will need to pick an undrafted team, there won't be a "ripple effect" of taking already owned teams, if you know what I mean. You could also switch out your hitters for an undrafted team's hitters. Picking last you would have the advantage of choosing your slot in the four player draft. We can possibly allow some sort of compensation to you, (extra draft pick, higher salcap?) if the majority of other owners are ok with that.

Oh.....no fun league, how will we make 27 trades each wit those restrictions? The 9 player rule worked well in season 1 and I would think people just want to have a decent bench in case of injuries or a player underwhelms they can pick up a good replacement.

Sorry guys but even though its a credit, I would think I would be at a competitive disadvantage not drafting in order. I eve thought of taking a cheaper hitting squad then PHI and pairing it with the best remaining pitching squad to get the 1st pick in the player draft but too much to overcome.

Hopefully Pirhala checks in soon - it has been quite a long time, hopefully all is well.

If a sub becomes necessary, I would hope it will be someone comfortable with the existing league rules. There are some selling points for the team -

1. Phillies hitters - not a bad group with Werth, Ruiz, Howard, etc.
2. Option to swap out Phillies hitters for another available group
3. Chance for a top pick in each round of the 4 player draft - with the ability to control how high up you pick with how you select the pitching staff
4. Availability during preseason to pick up any other undrafted free agents to round out the team - from 18 unselected teams...that's a lot of players
5. Decent pitching staffs available still - Washington with Strasburg and a strong bullpen, NY Mets with Santana, Dickey and others, even Seattle gets you Hernandez (top SP in the set) plus some serviceable SP's and a couple bullpen guys along with an even higher draft pick

So I would think someone out there would be willing to take the opportunity if it becomes necessary, given all of these options.

Surprised you'd give up Phillies hitters since that's your team. Given the way the draft has played out, I think all picks to this point are a done deal as Blackjack noted. I think we are basically in a 'it is what it is' scenario - the teams available are what's available.

For the record, I offered Ducapa the NY Yankees pitchers to be matched with the Phillie hitters, but he wasn't interested.

We are asking Ducapa to join the league - it's his call whether or not to join...if he's inclined to not join, then we look for another owner. Or wait on Pirhala, but I honestly think that ship has sailed due to his real-life commitments.

Any thoughts on re-dooing the picks listed below here? These are the picks beginning with Pirhala's # 2 pick...

7. nymets99 SD Pitch
6. blackjack57 TB Pitch
5. Delbird STL Pitch
4. Metjet24 BOS Pitch
3. mike28298 OAK Pitch
2. Kramers ARZ Hit
1. Risden NYY Pitch

Quite honestly, SD and STL are not much better than TB or NYY or BOS from a pitching perspective. SD pitchers will get killed anywhere outside of Petco and I had the STL pitchers in the last league - Carpenter and Wainwright were solid, but they both gave up ~ 50 homers in the regular season playing in a major league (American League fan here) ballpark.

I dragged one owner (timboy) out of SOM mothballs - I'll try to find another.
