Looking for people to play newest 12-team Keeper League

Prospect limit: I don't think you need a limit as long as players lost prospect status once they were carded. Losing prospect status once a player is carded is the key, otherwise then you would need limits. With one 4 prospect draft per year (plus trades ) I think most owners would usually not have more than 8-10 prospects at a time. It would actually be easier for everyone to track things this way, since you would not have to worry about how long a prospect had been on your roster.

The prospects would not count against the main roster, they would be in addition to it.

Okay. That makes sense to me. I wasn't thinking about the only way to accrue prospects being the four-player draft each year and trades. I was thinking you could just add them willy-nilly.

I noticed in our league under Turtle the amount of cards per prospect is two. Isn't that right? Is that what you're referring to?

Doesn't Turtle have a limit on a prospect allowed to be carded, and keep prospect status, at two years? Or is it the second card where a prospect loses his eligibility? Maybe I'm wrong about that. Entirely possible.

Don't give up on your Major league franchise/two player idea.

That could be fun.

Maybe others can chime in about that.

I think so, we could go that way but I would rather just have players lose their prospect status the first year they get a card. It's easier to keep track of everything and more realistic. Aray's suggestion of roster size of 36 with 12 cuts sounds good to me.

Okay. Sounds good.

I want to do your MLB franchise/two player idea. It's something different and interesting.
