Franchise Theme League-Season 2.1 - Thread Closed for now

On the heels of a very fun/successful ( I won, woohoo) season one of the former L.Pope/Phillies Franchise Theme league, I would like to continue with a similar season 2.1 as I was not able to make it into season 2 (Real Team Franchise League). All season 1 owner have first dibs, but others can sign up as needed.


Season 2.1 Rules:

12 teams
120 M cap, 10% drop penalty, will use 140M option, but actual cap=120M

Draft 1.5 Franchises, 4 free agent players, 1 stadium
Frenzy Waivers
Trades Encouraged
Free Agent pickups allowed from undrafted franchises (full or half).
Stadium from 1.5 drafted franchises, or unique stadiums from undrafted franchises.

Basic theme is each owner will draft 1.5 franchises allowing them to have permanent ownership of those 1.5 franchise's players, excepting trades. Owners must have at least 9 players total (not each) from their 1.5 drafted franchises on their active roster, trades/drops are ok as long as total is at least 9.

After the franchise draft a five round live draft (diamondope or chat thread) will be held, owners will take any player from the non-drafted franchises and one stadium in the 7th round. After the draft a scheduled frenzy will be conducted, all undrafted players from the undrafted franchises will be free agents eligible to be picked up by any owner.
Drafts:
1.5 Franchise Draft: 2 rounds, randomizer determines order,
serpentine

Free Agent Players Draft: 4 rounds, order will be
reverse of salary of 1.5 drafted franchises.
No serpentine, owners will select any players from the 6 undrafted full franchises and 12 undrafted half franchises, trading draft picks for other picks or players is allowed

Stadium Draft: 1 round, order is reverse of round 6. All teams can use one of their 1.5 drafted franchises' stadium, or pick a unique stadium from any of the 6 undrafted (full) franchises.

After the draft and frenzy each roster should have:

1.5 Drafted Franchises-at least 9 total (example- 5 from SF, 4 from KC), max unlimited
Undrafted Franchises- up to 19

If you drop a franchise player or drafted free agent they will remain yours exclusively (you are sending them to the minors, not releasing them). Traded franchise players will also be eligible to be dropped/sent to minors by their new owner. Undrafted franchise players are Free Agents at all times.

The twist on this season will be that we draft 1 full franchise and one half franchise (pitchers or hitters). There will be no requirement to keep a Phillie on ur roster and the 4 rd. player draft will be determined by lowest to highest total salary of your 1.5 franchises. Also, we will add another round at the end for stadium draft. You may choose either of your franchises stadium or you can sElect any other stadium of an undrafted franchise. However, undrafted franchise stadiums must be unique.

The 4 round player draft can only
be from undrafted franchises and will not be serpentine. The 7th rd. for stadiums only will be reverse of the 6th rd.
Other rules will be same as above. Lets play ball!
