The Rediculously Early Pre-Card draft - Chat Thread

Postby chasenally » Tue Oct 04, 2011 11:36 pm

This is so hard to find players! I think Escobar will be great at SS but I have no idea what the hell is going on here. If Geekor picks 2 tonight I will grab another but if not I won't be picking until late night Wed or Thursday night to give you all a heads up. I have a doc appt Wed followed by Football practice with my kid and I work until 3:30PST during the week. I just wanted you all to know as this draft has many days to fill and I don't want to waste your time checking in when you don't have to.

So far I'm really happy with the pace of the draft, keep it up guys!

I'm pretty happy with my team so far as well, a little off put with my Allen Craig pick, probably should have gone Morse or a SS there instead. Oh well, other than that, my team has a solid offense so far.

FYI- jumping on a plane tonight and will be out of town until Monday morning. I'll be checking in on my phone and will be able to check online at some points. However, if things are moving really fast, I may have a hard time keeping up.

Thanks for letting us know, again we are almost 1/3 done and we have 3 months to finish.

Anyone doesn't pick in 24 hours I will PM them, but no skipping will happen at this point yet... but starting in December... welllllll...... 8-)

In all the years I don't think that has ever happened.

Basically, if you put your drafted guys and the rest all .50 players, there should be a way.

If that still was an issue, there are trades...

But if somehow that can't happen... well I'm not sure. with a 100 cap I just don't see an issue, and I don't want to penalize someone for drafting well...

Maybe drop their farthest pick (i.e round 15, first, then 14, etc etc) that would, coupled wit taking all .50, get them under the cap.

I should have read the rules again... I missed the 15 round thing and thought it was 25.

Must be jet lag. I arrived in Idaho. It's about 12:30 AM .....and I took Lucas Duda.
I'll hate myself in the morning.
