The Rediculously Early Pre-Card draft - Chat Thread

[quote:29c7fc8591="geekor"]So far I'm really happy with the pace of the draft, keep it up guys!

I'm pretty happy with my team so far as well, a little off put with my Allen Craig pick, probably should have gone Morse or a SS there instead. Oh well, other than that, my team has a solid offense so far.[/quote:29c7fc8591]

I gotta say, at least in this early stage, I really like your team so far. The Allen Craig pick really isn't all that awful, he'll just probably have his injury on a 6 or 7 which is a bummer.

Duda should have nice #'s Kev. But that's a biased comment from a Mets fan.
(His D is iffy though...)

I as hoping for on a 3... like I said, I didn't do enough looking before making that pick... will probably end up DHing him and getting a better fielding LF anyways...

yeah gamble this early on Johnson, but if he gets a card it will be the best 5 day starter in the set

Wow, only pitched 60 innings and he will get a card? That might be a gamble that really pays off if Johnson does get one.

Wanted to go a different route but I believe that there will be a long run on pitching in the next 2 rounds and wanted Cueto bad! As I don't pick for awhile had to do it.

I wish I had the balls  that geekor has as I would have taken 2 other guys already but don't think they are getting a card.

With that Johnson pick, Geekor has made my Weasel List.

Well I felt like chase that there would be a run on pitchers coming up. I missed out on the good half of the * SP's, so I knew I would be stuck going with a 5 man rotation. I figured I would gamble on the guy with clearly the best stats. I just hope Bernie feels to include him since he has a card in previous years.
