I am surprised my team sucks so bad. I usually play in big parks so this stadium is not usual to me but i thought my roster would be performing better.

Smokey - interesting & concerning to me that your pitching is getting smoked (if you'll pardon the phrase) without giving up a ton of HR, other than Coleman, but overall 25 HR in 270 IP not bad. Most games so far on the road but you're in more of a hitter div.

I think my biggest takeaways on your team are 1) would not want to start a .50 SP at all in a hitter park/div, may be worth it to upgrade, and 2) not sure if Barton the right call for $6M & no N power vs RH in a hitter park/div.

Also, Adams giving up a ton of BB to LHB. Venters I expect a high WHIP overall, but Adams you hope for lower, so if he is facing that many LHBs and putting them on base, you're in a bit of trouble there...

DT, you're .500 and have been marginally unlucky with a +10 run differential. Your pitching is getting killed, as to be expected in that park, but your offense is putting up an OPS of .860, so I don't think you're really underperforming there. Quit yer whining! :P

I meant smokey AND me. My ERA will go down to about 5. My OPS will remain about the same (perhaps a little less OBP).

I predict your ERA will not go down to 5 this year, not in that park against those offenses, with your best RP being an R1, sorry. I would have taken 2 3M-4M R2s (Zumaya/Burnett?) in that launching pad...

So far we're 14-16....expecting upticks in performance from Sabathia and Lincecum though. I kinda got McClellan as consolation for missing out on Belisle, who would be a better fit, but still expect better number from him. I may have to drop for a better R1.

Overall hitting not all that bad...but hoping for better avg/obp...especially out of Markakis.

Negative 20 run differential...ouch! Hoping that right-sizes itself...

So Silver, if you're giving out analysis, tell me, have we been unlucky in this small sample size or do we really suck this bad?
