I will take Tulo off your hands so you can start winning again...

WE WON A GAME, WE WON A GAME, AND THEY'RE ALL GOING CRAZY.

Actually managed to score 19 runs in the series, 13 in one game of course, while allowing 22 and lost the series. Wilson blows another save, allowing 5 in the 9th in a 3-1 game. He has 3 saves and 4 blown. There's realism for you. Could have been worse, Konerko missed a 1-15 three run jack to end the inning!

In the other game Verlander gets shelled AGAIN allowing 7 runs in 2.2 IP seeing his ERA balloon back up to 6.16.

There's some serious bad luck going on here. I don't care how bad a fit these guys may be, 7 mil pitchers don't have 6.16 ERA's pitching in AT&T.

The Good news is that Downs dropped his ERA down to 9.45 in the series.

I'm fascinated to see if this team is really this bad. I don't think this can conitinue. Of course, it's REALLY hard to play .333 for a whole season so...

Oh, and Tulo is out for only 3 more. Langerhans is out for six more, but hey, he's not Tulo so...

On the bright side - JTJ just won a free crate of cheese to go with his w(h)ine ... ;-)

JK - seriously i didnt expect his team to be off to that poor a start ... but i guess that is why we play the games - so we can be annoyed at how many we dont win lol.

AT,

Thanks for the nice comments.

I wish I were playing well enough that I didn't have anything to complain about. We're in a bad stretch, but I think this team will turn around. Probably too late to make a playoff run, but this has been crazy.

Well, we finished off our non-Tulo stretch at 2-13. Amazingly bad. Wow. Guess we'll see if we can play with him now.

During this stretch we lost 3 by one run and six by two.

ACTUALLY we were lucky to win one tonight. Had to get a HR from Fontenot int he bottom of the 9th and then score two in the 10th to win.

Of course, not so lucky in the other two, losing 3-1 and 5-4 leaving 13 on in the latter.

Joe, I empathize. I'm having the same injury issues with Thome and can't win without him.

Thought the Pujols/Ethier trade would improve OB but hasn't yet. Too many solo hr's.

Thanks Stoney. Yeah, kind of blows don't it?

Taking a look, you definitely have a low OB team even with Al and Eth. Either really good or really bad. LOTS of HRs however.
