Gifting Credits

Gifting Credits

Postby motherscratcher » Wed Oct 26, 2011 11:00 pm

With Christmas coming up I was wondering if there is a way to gift a credit to someone.

I've been trying to get my brother and my old man to give this game a try and they are resisting. They need a nudge. Neither one of them have an account, so It's probably impossible, but gifting a credit is better than $25 in cash and a note written in crayon "good for one strat team".

Also, since I have an account I'd like everyone who reads this to know what they would have to do to go about gifting me a credit...should the mood strike them.

I believe you can gift credits by contacting them via email . . . but they also have the promotion now where you give them a referral code and they can get their first two teams at $14.95 each . . . plus it gives you a $10 credit.

If you write in a pretty crayon color, Bernie will transfer a credit for you.

You can create accounts for them as well.

I don't know how TSN's referral system works, but you can send a note to the TSN people using the Contact Us link from the Help tab on your teams page. Explain what you'd like to do, and most likely they can make it happen.

Why not just create them an account and buy those first 2 teams and get your $10 credit? You have essentially then bought 2 teams for them for only $20. There is an option during the team purchase to choose to have TSN store your credit card number for future use or to not store it. Then nothing has to be transferred.

Then you could include the account name and password on your gift card.
