[quote:bb61b8787f="joethejet"]Hey DT,

Do you think the moves I eventually made were better for me than our almost trade?

A side question for you guys, when is the cutoff for 10% moves, is it after game 78 or after game 81?

Jet[/quote:bb61b8787f]

I think our deal was better, but ask everyone else- the crux of our deal was Tulo for Crawford, So figure Tulo and Langerhans for Crawford and Hardy.

Your deal you basically turned Tulo and Huff into Pujols...

Jeep,

So, that means we have to make a move on Saturday to stay under the 10%. Right?

DT,

Well, I got Janish instead of Hardy. So, Yeah, I had to give up Huff instead of Langerhans (and some other players) and I got Pujols instead of Crawford and Janish instead of Hardy. Of course, it was the other players that ended up nixing the deal.

Joe - Yes, the move has to be NLT Game 78. If you wait until Games 79-81 play you'd be a day late.

Ok, made a, probably, last move:

Peralta, Fontenot
for
Helms and Blanco

Makes us a little bit better v RHP and Helms helps our OB v LHP, although not our power.

Any thoughts? Big M?

Well, if I can "whine", I guess I can offer up some....uh..."cheese"? (At the risk of jinxing the whole thing of course)

We're currently on a 16-3 stretch. Yeah, the moves didn't hurt probably, but it also helps that Verlander's ERA is under 5 now and that Wilson is actually over 50% in save sits now. His ERA and Whip still stink, but first things first. ;)

Also, having Werth up to .243 and having my SS play almost every game helps too. ;)

We're actually middle of the pack in pitching and hitting now.

We're still 5 games behind our pythag, but we're within 9 games of .500 and only 7 out of a playoff spot.

Some other anomalies at, almost, the mid-point.

Jeep is 21-7 in one runners  that's amazing in volume and success.

Silver and Big A, OTOH, are both 5 or 6 games behind their pythags also and Silver is sucky in one runners.

Everyone else is within 3 of their Pythag.

Smoke has struggled in one runners, but is actually better than his pythag. How does that happen??

Amazingly enough, we no longer have the worst record in the league! Hopefully the upward trend will continue.

Big M, what do you think?????

Since my record in 1-run games in the last NLD was 19-30, I'll certainly take the good record this round.

My starters and relievers have really meshed well together. Hopefully I can continue to do well in the close games, although I'm positive I won't win what I'm on pace for at the half-way point today. (104)

Hah! We haven't even reached .500 yet, something that all you three have said was our top end. We're probably just getting a few of the breaks we didn't get before, just all together, just like we missed them all together earlier.
