20th Century Tournament

I do plan to use the full player pool for each league because I am using various "out of era" players to make it work. I am away from my research wb, but I thought I gave the cardinals more than that. I will check and get back on this as soon as I can.

Your rosters are to be 24 man. Use the 25th spot to draft an out-of-era card to get you over the 75m threshold, then drop that card after the draft.

Remember a few things:
-in this early 20th century season, your best closer is probably a SP/RP
-I tried to make sure each team had at least a 2 at important defensive spots like CF, SS, 2b. Some of the rosters (not necessarily this season) may include a 2 at ss with not much of a stick like Harry Lunte and a 3 at SS that can hit like Arky Vaughn. Your choice..............

The effort was made on my end to attempt to make each set of 12 teams as competitive as humanly possible for [b:e564a75ca0]each particular season[/b:e564a75ca0]. You will probably notice as we move on through the decades that the average roster payroll increases somewhat.

I assume we're waiting for Eric to get back from Europe before continuing, which is fine. Put my A's team together and disciovered I could have added THREE $11-mil players and still stayed under the $100 mil ceiiling!

Yes, waiting on Eric.

As you can guess, the average team payrolls increase incrementally as you move into the modern era. I do feel that each season champion will be viable in the championship rounds................

I can keep posting rosters for subsequent leagues here like I did for the first season, or I can work up spreadsheets with the rosters on them. What would you prefer?

Every time I see the word "spreadsheet," my knees buckle and my computer starts shaking! My vote is to keep the rosters here where I can see them!

Post them here. That keeps all pertinent information under the same roof.
