It looks like from the screenshot that we can search stolen bases by letter rating. This is not extremely relevant with the advanced steal system.

I would like to be able to sort by ratings such as good jump or bad jump, frequency of getting a good jump.

I'm sure this has been said before, but it would be nice if the new platform supported live drafts at the lower cap levels.

When I played the face to face version of SOMBB, the draft was always a big event. Doing a live draft at the lower cap levels would create some of the same excitement. - Bernie W

I agree, but live drafting for a smaller cap will be very, very difficult.

I like this a LOT!

One great convenience is that if you need, say, a backup SS costing no more than .56M, it currrently means whacking through several pages just to get to that price-point. The more players in the set, the bigger this problem becomes.

If you can hone in on a specific price or lower, that problem goes away.

Interesting point, but I don't think I agree. Checkboxes not only would clutter the display, but they also imply functionality that is unnecessary, e.g. "show me Balance 7R and 9R, but not 8R". No one would use that. It's cleaner and more intuitive to say "show me Balance 7R and greater".

Right, I was going to point that out. I've made it this way to be more intuitive; searching by "good lead" numbers would probably be too complex. Searching by high steal number may be do-able, though.

Great, you guys had to zero in on the most difficult one, didn't you? :) It may require jumping through some hoops, but I'll try my best with this one.

Of course, anyone who knows what they are doing won't use the Balance filter anyway...

At least make Range and Running checkboxes.

I am also going to suggest preserving the search criteria as session variables.

I would like to see a player search feature with abilities similar to a stock screener. That would give you ultimate control over searching for data. Stock screeners all have different formats depending on the company obviously. Here is an example from Google's website:

When you click add criteria, you have additional search options. Plus you can search for defined ranges. Below the search feature, is a custom report based on the criteria above. I would adopt this format. i think it's easy to understand and provides for custom reports.

This one is kind of cool because there is a small distribution graph between the minimum and maximum values settings.

How about being able to search players by year or range of years? What about searching alphabetically? Such searches would be particularly useful in searching for theme league players, for example, such as a deadball era theme using players prior to 1920. Another potential theme is using players from 1960-1989. The possibilities are limitless.

This will be helpful, but what would be great is to have a toggle to see a players simulateds stats (like on on the team page). I waste so much time having to click on each player to see if he was dropped by another team and to view his sim stats.
