LOL

Didn't even notice that. Guess it shows how much attention I'm paying.

Those guys must have gone down for a bunch of games at the end of the season.

Well, both series are going seven games.

Big M will get Cargo back for the last game. I'm sure that will have an impact on his scoring.

Jeep will still be missing Murphy.

Congrats to Stoney and Big M.

Jeeper, that's awfully tough way to go out after winning 105 games. I feel for you man. :( That blows. Not sure why Zumaya pitched so long when he was tired, but those were big HRs from Thome and Young. And then the clincher from Thome.

I'm amazed that Big M didn't just crush Paulino with all those LHBs in Miller and Wright isn't exactly a stud even v LHB, but he got enough for the win. Gio was very good on this night and Dunn missing a 1-16 bphr was a killer for AT.

Stoney, I guess, in the end, the trade we made worked out for you eh?

AT, you came awfully close to defying the ratings again!

Good luck to Stoney and Big M. If I get a chance later tonight I'll run the comparitive ratings.

Quick Ratings
Miller: Big M 2539, Stoney 2514
Yankee: Big M 2427, Stoney 2805

Looks like Stoney would have a HUGE advantage at home and be pretty close in Big M's park. This would suggest a 6-7 game victory for Stones. HOWEVER, Big M had a 15-9 advantage over Stones in the reg season so....

I can't see the home/away splits easily.

For what it's worth.

[quote:fd59a91de5="ArrylT"]DT is having a rough week :o

All divisions have now been officially clinched - down to Stoney & keyzick for WC and the right to face off against Jeep in the Playoffs. :o

At the rate smokee is playing I may have to name him my MVP. [/quote:fd59a91de5]

It was always going to be tough for AT in the playoffs. His regular season MVP was on the bench...

Good luck in the finals gentlemen.

Almost feel bad for winning that series. Jeep's team was solid all year.

Joe, yes the Votto trade was huge for me. Probably one of the worst Pujols seasons I've seen for both of us I've seen all year. Still hit 40 hr's but low BA/OB/SLG.

We haven't done well this season against Big. I'm telling my team we won the last 4 and everything before that doesn't matter. :D

Good luck Big.

Solid? Yeah, more than solid. He was dominant!

One thing I neglected to mention in the post on Big M v Stoney. big M is better v LHP and will also do well v hard RHP. Given that Stoney's rotation is LH or hard RH, maybe Big M's 3-1 edge isn't surprise. Also, Stoney is better v RHP of which Big starts None.

This is definitely a case where the base ratings don't take into account the matchups.

Big was 28-25 vs lefties during the season and 62-47 vs R so I start my two lefties to begin the series. Yeah, that worked.

Not looking good for the underdog.

Well, he's certainly going to be good v hard RHP in his park. Starting LHP in Miller wasn't a bad idea, but he sure scored some runs. The killer so far was the 4-3 loss in your park. Close one.
