so...since dale murray has caused such a stir, i must ask...

does anyone know why he is an R4? he threw in 32 games in 1974 for 69.2 ip's (average of 2.16 ip's per relief appearance).

he only had 3 appearances all season for 4 or more innings, and 11 appearances for 3 or more innings. even giving him an R3 would be generous since only about 1/3 of his games exceeded that.
