[quote:14c7ea2033="spicki17"]i didn't mean to skip him and i am happy to give him gates brown if that is who he was going to draft. otherwise, shut up, weinberg.[/quote:14c7ea2033]

Thats is ok - I didn't set any proxies and I don't want to the draft process to stop on account of me - usually I have no clue on live drafts since I don't even know what park I want to play in - I'll get a better idea of the type of team I want later  so if I get skipped I really dont mind.

Weinberg, I never said I wanted Gates Brown, I only mentioned him as a reference in our RP innings debate.

I'm back.........Jackson Tyler born today 1:30 pm 6lbs 13 oz and a future Strat player if Strat has a future.

Now for my question. I have done DD drafts before but this was the first time I drafted players through proxy. I had Willie McGee on my list and Nels drafted him on the very pick before he would have hit my proxy. Nels subsequently dropped McGee for Rogan but in doing so it also wiped him from my proxy list. McGee would have been my next pick and Nels picked him up a couple of rounds later. Is this the inherent risk we all run when using a proxy on DD? Just wondering.

For what it is worth I am NOT lobbying to get McGee, he belongs to Nels.

Congrats on your son! Just one caveat. Read up on vaccinations. There is a vast literature on this stuff; I would check out Dr. Mercola's website, mercola.com. and search vaccinations there. They overwhelm the immune system -- at the very least --during the first year not to mention the toxic additives. Even if you think getting 25 vaccinations during your son's first year of life is okay, then at least consider what combination vaccines can do. They appear to be the worst at compromising the developing immune system.

In NY state doctors can't even call in hotline reports to Child Protective Services for not getting your kids vaccinated. I work in the belly of that particular beast, so I deal with this stuff all the time. And you can get a philosophical / religious exemption so they can't keep your son out of school when the time comes. I have two professional female friends with whom I work who both have autistic sons, each under age five. No autism in their families apart from the two boys. Both are convinced the autism was from the mercury and other additives contained in the vaccines.

Don't take my word for any of this. Do your own research and draw your own conclusions.

Here are some sample articles from Mercola. There are hundreds more on his website.

Thanks Petro for that very informative insight, I will look into everything that you mentioned without fail. He did get his Hep B today......they give it to him within the first ten minutes out of the womb.

I know, and then 68 more until he's 18.

I always thought this stuff was crap. But then my pit bull died at age nine from an autoimmune disease he got from combination vaccines. My two golden retrievers now get only rabies shots. They are both 8 and in perfect health.
