Clutch rating, during player evaluation

I read a long time ago that the clutch rating is really meant to be used only with stock team replays. I never use the clutch system when doing my own leagues on the CD-ROM. But that is kind of off topic.

true statement. Hence why many of us have asked for it to be turned off for a number of years.

It is simply a linear correction as a control on team scoring for the replay seasons.

It has no bearing nor relation to clutch play, so it's really just an added confusing element of background noise.
