Invitational league: Weinberg vs Petrosian

Postby The Last Druid » Mon Jan 30, 2012 8:46 pm

Anyone already entered who wants the new players should take their team out, modify their draft list to include any desired new players, then reenter their teams.

Bernie's "rules", not mine.

For myself, I would actually prefer Springer's suggestion since it would make the waivers a frenzy. But since I don't anticipate this group coming to an easy consensus, it would appear to make the most sense to just follow TSN's rules/guidelines/suggestions --call them what you will. The other issue is it would be difficult to police someone just putting the new players on their card and already having them once the frenzy begins. Despite the obvious trust and love we all share for each other, it seems prudent --having miraculously made it this far -- to avoid any issues along those lines that could sabotage the league.

Just to forestall any drawn-out, acrimonious debates here is what Bernie posted (again) today about drafting the new players:

[quote:863ab8cf81]Effective immediately these cards are available for you to put on your draft lists if you are joining or creating a league that hasn't filled yet. If you've already finished your draft list and joined a league, you may pull out and adjust your list to include any of the new cards if you want, as long as the league hasn't closed yet.

The new cards will not be made available to leagues that have already drafted or whose seasons have started. I had intended to add them to such leagues manually on a case-by-case basis, but consensus opinions from the managers in these leagues would be too hard to collect, and I've run into some unexpected obstacles in this whole process.

Sorry for the delay guys. Just nobody draft the newbies. Easier said than done but still; all the new guys suck anyway. ; )

Hey at least from my prospective they do. Bomber.....maybe a different story. I was real excited about Smoltz at first, he's got so many bells and whistles but he sucks.

Regardless, let's do our best to be civil and if someone takes a guy it's not the end of the world. Oh and best of luck to everyone, I'm looking forward to some good competition and fun.

Is it GKhd13, who drafted on DD, or Teamsters 808 (as posted on this thread previously?)
