Technically the expansion era is recognized by MLB to have begun in 1961. Personally it annoys me to see players as recently as from 1966 to still be categorized as post WW 2 players, i hope someday Bernie will correct the erred era.

Altrenatively, they could designate the seasons from 1947-1972 as the "Integration Era" and seasons from 1973 onward as the DH era. These were much more significant events than the mere money grabs engineered periodically by the established owners.

I prefer that option, as it would allow for more of a balance between the two eras in terms of the number of cards, and it would also get more speed and bullpen options in the post-war group. As it stands, something like 40% of the player cards are from the EXP sub-group. Another possibility is splitting them after 1975 with the "Free Agency Era"
