A question for the commish:

When I look at ballparks for the Reds in the Post-WWII set I can go back to Crosley '51, '57 or '66, Riverfront '78 or Great American '05.

The rules said we would use the Post-WWII player set ( though we can use only exp players, of course). Just wanted to make sure we can select any post WWII era ballpark, even though in my book '51 is not expansion era.

I will probably use Crosley '57 or '66 anyway, but for some franchise combos this may make a big difference, so just wanted to be clear on the ruling.

Dan: I'm not the commish, but I can't say that I agree with your interpretation of the rules, as the rule above states that the park must correspond "to one of your two selected [size=15:a777eec8ee][b:a777eec8ee]exp era[/b:a777eec8ee][/size:a777eec8ee] teams." (emphasis added) Clearly, if 2cityfan had intended for any ballpark to be used, he would have left out the words "exp era".

It appears that we are all required to use the expansion era ballparks used by our teams whether we like it or not.

I just asked this question on cityfans league. I don't see how ballparks from as old as 1948 can be considered expansion era. The question isn't about corresponding teams but the time period considered for expansion era.
