Small general update, 3/16/12

Hello Sons of Stratarchy,

Just a quick general update of what's going on here at SOM Online HQ...

It's actually been a lot of fun, from a programmer's perspective, but this is officially the most stressed I've been about a project in my life! What keeps me going and excited is looking forward to how much better the site, and also my job, will be when it's done. By the gods, I shall vanquish this fell beast!

Soon I'll be starting an official information page where I'll be incrementally adding answers to FAQ's and things you need to know about the upcoming switchover to Strat-O-Matic.com. Within the next few weeks I'll also be looking for some testers (though I don't know yet how many). And at this time, I can give you a slightly less vague ETA for the switchover - less than 2 months from now.

The next new batch of cards to be added to ATG VI will debut next week on [b:a2ef20029d]Thursday, March 22[/b:a2ef20029d]. As with last month's batch, I won't have the opportunity to post card teasers leading up to the drop, but I've been paying attention to all the requests and input from everybody in the community and I'll be factoring them into the card choices the best I can. I'm sure you'll enjoy them! Fwiw, as I've said before, I'll definitely be keeping a much strict eye on the "inflated FantaSim card" issue.

Also, given the fact that we're hitting crunch time for the site rebuild/migration, this will be last new cards batch for about 2 months. Thanks for understanding!
