While we are on this discussion, my son, who has played against many of you, has asked a few times if I know of any other kids who are playing. He would love to put together a kids league if there are.

Am I the whippersnapper here? Age 3.5 and 1. The 3.5 year old was watching Dora a month ago, at one of the points where Dora asks the viewer, "do you like ice cream?" or "do you like playgrounds?" and the kids is supposed to yell back "Yessss!". Well, that days question was, "do you like baseball?" and my 3 year old gleefully yelled back "Noooooo!" Sigh.

In better (?) news, Jose Canseco is going to be playing for the local minor league team this summer.

Despite living only 10 minutes away, I have never made a Tornadoes game...but I may have to to see Canseco. I actualy like the guy.

Gmac... Manager of the Cardinals/Angels hybrid. Former Cardinal, current Angel Albert Pujols is sure stinkin' up the joint this season, isn't he? No homeruns and only four ribbies through the first eighteen games. :cry:

Even before the start of the season, I thought the Angels overdid it on Pujol's contract. I'm sure he'll eventually come around, but I don't envision him putting up the same numbers he did all those years with the Cardinals.
