2011 Hall of Shame Under-Performers

Postby paul.czarnecki » Tue May 01, 2012 1:02 pm

My first team of the 2011 set, as of 150 games played, Miguel Cabrera has 26 doubles. He hit 48 in reality.

I can understand the effect that stadium choice can have on HRs but doubles?

In another 200 mil keeper that finished last night, Lee did better, at 21-16, ERA 3.66, WHIP 1.16 (Nationals Park)

My under performer is Asdrubal Cabrera, in AT&T park, I expect slightly better numbers.

This set has too many under performers and over performers. I have 9 teams so far. In many of them there are entire teams that over perform. I have one where the entire team is under performing in road games only.

My most recent team is 3-12. Kershaw 4.68 ERA and Fister are combined 1-4. Giambi .157 1 HR. Beltre .143 0 HR. Morse .194 2 HR. I've also had a few 4 million plus relievers who have blown nearly as many games as they save.

FYI three of my leagues regular seasons are finished. One has the top 2 pitching staffs in the finals. One has 2 of the top 3 pitching staffs in the finals. And one has 3 of the top 4 hitting teams starting the semi finals.

Not sure that's going to be any help in picking my next team unless I can figure out who the over performers will be :)

I just finished a season with Fister. It was great to watch him pitch. Almost every start if that guy could get past the first 3 innings he would win. He hardly ever gave up a run from the 4th on.

Granderson just finish a season and he was awful!

615AB .195/.290/.385
If you dropped the .195 and added another at the end he would have been ok! Yes I just drafted him again.

I have Fister in another league. He's 5-4 with a 2.84 ERA. On that team after 36 games I have Maybin BA .180, 1 SB, Hannahan BA .172, Adrian Gonzalez BA .243. I didn't expect much from Hannahan but I've seen him in leagues where he's performed well. Gonzalez hit .349 & .329 in 2 of my leagues that finished.
