Pre-waivers glitch with roster size

Pre-waivers glitch with roster size

Postby guardian154 » Fri Jun 15, 2012 6:55 am

Currently you can drop players, pre-waivers from 25 -> 22. Without creating a player to pickup in exchange. Minimums are set to 22, but I don't think that was intended to be minimum pitching and hitting at the same time.

Is this a glitch or an added hidden feature... 8-)

I noticed that on a post-waivers, pre-season team. I dropped a guy without picking someone up, putting my team at 23 players. But when I went to the free agents and found the guy I "dropped", it said he was still on my team.

So I suspect a glitch, and I sent mail to support to get it on the list.

hopefully it is a "new feature" and not an error. years ago, rosters were 23 players minimum, i liked that much more. The 9 pitcher min and 13 hitter min adds more strategy and adds value on 0 injury players and 1** players as well as pitchers that can start and relieve. i guess we'll find out soon enough...

My waivers run tonight as long as we don't have another delay. So in keeping with the standard I added 2 players without dropping anyone, unless I hear otherwise.

I just noticed that on our team page (BS2 Lg 5) it states 9 minimum pitchers and 13 minimum hitters. If I'm correct, that totals 22 players allowed.
That certainly changes how I would approach a player's value since bullet proof guys allow me to reduce the bench size and add those monies to the starting line-up.
I don't recall reading that the roster minimum was changing after the migration.

[quote:2de9506954]it states 9 minimum pitchers and 13 minimum hitters[/quote:2de9506954]Of course that's what it always said premigration but there must be a glitch that doesn't recognize the established 24 player minimum.

I've E-mailed support.

How does one search for relievers specifically under $2 million, for example? Am i missing something.
