I am very curious about the new stats as well. I am curious if the new stats will shed some new light on the game and if it will bring about any tactical changes in philosophies. What I really want to see is clutch hitting statistics. How often the clutch factor actual comes into play. I differ from most people in how I view that and I would love to see data at some point if Bernie could add it.

The stats you mentioned are all interesting. Especially tracking the improved fielding data.[/quote:3bd81bf2ed]

Clutch would be a nice stat to have w/o trolling the box scores. I'm curious what is your view of clutch factor?

Lots of board games lately and clutch rating seems to come up about once or twice per game I would say. 1.5 times per game....

Once we start again, could we have Sundays off? As in not play games on Sunday night?

This reminds me of when astronauts would go around the moon or when they re-entered the atmosphere and there was a communications blackout. We'd wait to see if they were all okay. Same thing here. Waiting to see if the game is okay after a night of running games. We're all waiting for the parachutes to open and the space craft to descend perfectly into the water.
God speed SOM. :?:

Brings back some old memories that the 70's didn't lose for me, Stoney !

It does have the same feeling. Wondering if the gaming is working out well or will it crash into the sea. LOL

Tuesday night's games have been posted

Postby bernieh » Wed Jun 27, 2012 2:56 am

League games resumed on Tuesday night according to our plan, and the results are now available to your teams. While we had testers double-check everything before we posted the results, we're still exercising caution as we proceed. Therefore, in the unlikely event that any major issues are discovered that compromise the validity [i:cfaa8c6cba]of a large portion of leagues[/i:cfaa8c6cba], we're prepared to consider a mass rollback and re-play. But again, we don't expect to have to resort to that.

[b:cfaa8c6cba]Please read this update for more technical details of the games.[/b:cfaa8c6cba]

We plan to execute the same plan described at the above link for Wednesday night's games as well, which begins with a shutdown of the site shortly after the 10pm ET roster/settings freeze deadline.

Christmas morning in June.

Two leagues and all looks fine at first glance.

As for the changes, most I like. A few will take some getting use to. A very few... well, I'll see in a day or week or two. There are more important issues that are being addressed and successfully so based on my two leagues.

"Nice to have you back where you belong", Strats.
