I have never seen anything like this although I am not a regular on the Boards so maybe I missed it before but here is an idea:

THE AVERAGE JOE LEAGUE

Simple and uncomplicated but probably tricky. The only requirement is that you can not draft any players $5 mil and over nor can you draft any players under $2 mil. Your roster will be filled with Average Joe's.

There are only 23 catchers in that range. Not enough for 2 per team. You might want to lower the range to 1m for catchers.

Welcome Bunbury, I played in a two team league with you when you were the Houston franchise and I was the New York Pirates.

We can lower the plateau to $1 mil for catchers only if needed.

Are you lowering the catcher minimimum to $1m? Are you keeping the minimum for everyone else at $2m? When you say, "you cannot [u:d81b33bec1]draft[/u:d81b33bec1] any player over $5m or under $2m," are you simply talking about the autodraft, or are you saying that you can never have any player over $5m or under $2m at any time?

I think you might want to clearly restate the rules.

I am saying that you can never have anyone on your roster at any time who is $5 mil or higher and below $2 mil with the only exception being catchers who cannot be lower than $1 mil.

Never mind. It seems as if it is too late in the season to get new leagues started. I will try this idea out with the 2005 set when it comes out. To those who signed up, thanks for trying.
