With the chance (with a moderately successful season) to advance to the Barnstormer Finals, I am fielding the following team:

This seems like a terrible idea - but for some reason I can't resist the magnetic pull of these particular players. Maybe it's just because I titter like a little boy seeing the names Joe Adcock and Dick Sisler and two Reds in my lineup. Who knows. Enjoy the carnage.

Seeing all those Reds raises the spectre of another theme team idea...all names of Colors. Pitching , of course, Three Finger Brown, Red Ruffing, Whitey Ford, Sandy Koufax, Vida Blue, Joe Black, Red Faber. Easier to group by colors than by position. Whites/ Whiteys: Kurowski, Jerry, Bill, Frank. Dick Green. Pete Rose....
