My apologies since this is a little off topic but not totally. I also posted in the mlb forum but I know a lot of people here do not post there and I want as much feedback as possible.

Anyone suscribe to this MLB service where you are supposed to get all games streamed over the web? I have some questions.

How satisified are you with the quality?

Are all games available live or just some of them? I ask that because the mlb extra innings does not televise every game as some teams opt out.

Say there is an afternoon game on while I am at work. Is that game available for me to watch on a delayed basis later that evening? Or is everything live and if you miss it you just miss it?

Are you forced to view advertisements even though you paid money for the service. If there are ads how intrusive are they? Are we just talking commercials between innings or banners somewhere on screen or are the also popup ads that force their way past my popup blocker software?

I already have the MLB extra innings so this may not be worth the extra $80 a year to subscribe. But the multi-game mosaic looks interesting. If I were able to call up 6 games of my choice in the evening and have them stream at the same time that would be cool. I just do not want to throw away $80. That is 4 strat teams. :D [/quote]

I subscribed last year. It works fine. It's basically MLB Extra Innings over the Internet, so I don't really see why you would want to have both. Same principle, they pick up the feeds from local networks/cable channels with the same blackout restrictions.

The interface is much improved over last years. Ensure you have a good connection, because it will really piss you off if you dont.
A really nice feature is that you can watch any game anytime either full length or a condensed version. You can watch every game from last year or if you want to see some classic games from the past, you can do that. You must order the all access to get this feature though. Its a little more but well worth it. I do recommend it if your around computer alot.

This is good stuff. I'm thinking about buying MLB.com too. It sounds like it might be worth it.

Down here in Birmingham, we get TBS and WGN on cable, but don't have a MLB package available on our cable (Charter).

This is what I really wanted to know. If I interpret this right I can come home from work and watch a condensed version of the game that was played in the afternoon that I missed because my employer was rudely making me work.

I dropped 80 buck and signed up this weekend. So far I am [i:f69b8d83f6]very[/i:f69b8d83f6] happy. Here is my first impression:[list:f69b8d83f6]
[*:f69b8d83f6]Easy of use - VERY GOOD
[*:f69b8d83f6]Games available - EXCELLENT
[*:f69b8d83f6]Quality of picture - POOR
[*:f69b8d83f6]Flexibility - EXCELLENT[/list:u:f69b8d83f6]

I click on the game I want to watch, and then click on "full screen." The picture looks sharp when it's 3" x 3", but at full screen it's pixel-ish.

The excellent flexibility I am talking about is the ability to carry my wireless laptop into any room and watch the game. Watch it in bed. Watch it in the kitchen. Also - this is big - my subscription is [b:f69b8d83f6]not[/b:f69b8d83f6] tied to one computer. I will try it tomorrow, but I believe that my subscription will not only allow me to watch games at home, but also log in from my computer at work or other computers.

And that is watching every pitch/play only eliminating the dead time between innings/pitches?

If true I could watch every game every day in about 2 hours.

The quality of the picture "could" be poor because of:

1. A slower CPU
2. Not enough RAM in your system
or
3. An outdated or weak video card.
