I was looking at putting together a package of Dunn or Gomes or Wright. I was doing the research when you posted above.

Burrell and Furcal for Jeter??? No offense Bubba (Mike), but that was an outright steal imho.

KD has no need for Furcal (except as trade bait or D), so essentially it's Burrell for Jeter. :!: :?:

Jeter is still only 31, has been getting better with age (he has more BB's than K's this year) and is a solid 2 at SS. Maybe for Young (who's only a year and a half younger but a "3").

All I can say is WOW! :shock:

Next time you might want to shop around a little more KD (at least more than 58 minutes). :cry:

I'm not going to complain about KD taking that trade, but I did give up 2 very solid players for one. Whether KD needs Furcal or not, he's pretty valuable in this year's game.

As for the guys you're talking about, Sandlot, I don't thinkI have anything big enough to offer. I'm not moving Jeter without getting a solid SS in return.

I do, however, have Khalil Greene, who I'm willing to move for relief help, or in combo to upgrade a starting pitcher. I also might be willing to part with JJ Hardy.
