I would be that last or lowest rated manager.

My team, especially the SP, has been an enigma. I was 9-21 or something like that, clawed my way back to .500 at 45-45 and have slid back down to around 10 games under since then. Curses Fenway!!

A timely sweep last night has pushed the Phanatics to 11 games out. I haven't wrapped this up yet, but my chances look good to make the playoffs here, a very nice feeling following two flops in the previous JaserD Tourneys.

Stoney, I'm pulling for you to get that WC. Go get 'em!

How's that Jeep?

Beat a guy down  and then give him a hand up :) .

I think the division is yours and the way things are going I may not even finish 2nd in our division.

Stoney, I apologize if I sounded giddy and/or arrogant with my above post, that wasn't my intentions. :)

Jeep, didn't take it that way at all. I was trying to show the irony of sweeping someone and then wishing them good luck in a funny way and it didn't come out right. :D

Cubs & and I aren't helping ourselves with losing streaks. I guess we have to hope that Kavid & GU beat each other up and one of us gets hot and sneaks in.

Congrats to the division winners - especially Hendrix. Can't say I've seen a team lead the league in hitting (runs scored) and pitching at the same time.

Thought I'd bump this thread as it was buried under a huge pile of rubble.

Hendrix and I are in a huge battle. Series all tied 2-2 with one more game at my place, which is almost a virtual necessity that I win. Going back to his home field down 3-2 would be difficult to overcome.

Its definetly been a tight series so far. I some how managed to screw up my pitching rotation so you lucked out and only have to face pettitte once this series.

You also caught a bad break having Helton and Castro go down for the rest of the series. I wonder who HAL will try and hide over at first base.

Good luck. Heres to a close finish to the series.

The only roster move I made all season was dropping Klesko for Bocachia. I was only thinking at the time how bad Klesko had been, and not how he was my only backup 1B. So now I'm in a pickle. :(

Hendrix Wins It All!

Postby Jeepdriver » Mon May 29, 2006 7:19 am

Congrats to Hendrix for winning it all. Not an excuse, but the series crashed quickly for me when I lost my 1B and 2B. Hendrix with his 100+ win team in The Finals is very deserving, and my hat is off to him. Well played!
