Thanks RR. But I have to make a correction.

Tie-breaker is run differential, not season series. Hope you didn't go to too much trouble to figures that out.

Dingo has not gotten back to me, so I've asked T.Richardson if he is interested (yes). I've given him links to the team, and the rules. I've also asked him to post here if he has any questions, before deciding.

I will take the team unless Dingo reappears. One potential problem could be that I will be in Vegas Nov. 3-6 and due to alcohol, gambling, and possibly even midnight bowling it will seriously limit my access. If you guys don't see that is a problem I would love to get in this league.

A Few Questions

Postby T.Richardson » Fri Sep 30, 2005 5:25 pm

1. What does it mean that Schmidt is my franchise player.

2. Am I correct that all non-retired players .76 and above that are currently on my roster are mine to do with as I please until the post waiver frenzy. Put on Auto-Draft card leave off trade ect.

3. I can't protect any .75 guys

4. Has my ballpark been blown up yet? Wrigley seems to fit the core of this team but I'm a Cards fan and it just doesn't feel right to play in Wrigley.

5. DH or no DH?

6. Is there a "Rookie" list posted yet?

That's great, TR. As far as I'm concerned the team is yours -- Dingo announced before the '83 season that it would be his last year. I believe Big A comes back Oct 20. So if we do the draft between Oct. 21-31, we shoud be fine (the entry drafts are usually no more than 6 rounds).

As for your questions:

1. Nothing -- I was just trying to entice you with having Schmidt.

2. Yes. Except it's until the Waiver draft. That is, anyone can make a waiver claim on an elligible player not appearing on a roster.

3. Correct.

4. Dingo did blow up his ballpark once, however, I think we should be willing to consider allowing another demolition, since you haven't used the mulligan yourself. That will depend what the rest of the league thinks.

5. DH

6. No list posted yet. I'll have to bug Penn some more for that one, as he has the best resources for generating a list. I missed some players when I did the 1983 list.
