my mistake in not spotting Rube taking Mays... tried to drop Zowdermilk.. but site access did not permit me to do that .....

so might give Grover a try out for closer role....
or find a replacement pick sometime.. no rush.. I will end up with 25 players....

some members of the team approached me about the idea of Grover getting a try out for closer.. talk about a players stirke.. death threats, .. beatings... stuff like that .. ( this is the 20's)

so after discussing with Grover.. we decided that he can report as a non roster player during spring training.. and I will need two approvals for the drop ......

Grover is taking this very hard.. so pl;ease be sensitive... in that light, I am open to trade offers for him...

Not sure why (or how) Pete got on the drop list. I thought he was happy on my DTHL team. :roll:

Dave.. I saw the Pete Alexander drop sitting there.. I was not going to tell Pete he was on waivers.. but thought that he woudl make a perfect repalcement pick up for Grover.. :) ( sort of a Grover for Grover trade )

Pete heard that instead of Gehrig, Banks, and Brett he was going to have Daubert, Hollocher and Dugan on the infield this time so he demanded an outright release. I lured him back by upping his LLL (Liquid Lunch aLlowance).

Just an FYI on my availability - I'll be away Saturday from 10am on until Sunday at 7pm (all PDT).

We're in round 18 of 30 as I post this, and I can put in a bunch of proxies that should last well through the weekend, but I thought I'd let you know in case I'm MIA on the boards.

Please refresh my memory - how will we pick stadiums (stadaii?)? They aren't listed on Penn's site that I can see.

this drafting without having league files is not going well.. could I please ask someone to approve my drop of George burns.. apparently there are two George burns... and the one who is worth drafting has gone a while ago.. :o(
