I think you're assuming an awful lot since we haven't heard from Mike_J in over 2 months ...
With my overall enthusiasm for SOM dropping like a rock I will be a very infrequent visitor to these threads so when (and IF ...) my presence is finally needed here go ahead an e-mail me.

Sorry for the absence, guys, but part 2 was always meant to be a post- (real) regular season thing. I needed a vacation from this game. Vacation is over, and hopefully we can get back in the swing.
Have a thread going in the individual league forum. I'm actually last in the draft, because, if I'm remembering my own rules correctly, I still have a higher score for the first season than the champs (regular season wins +10 points for division, 5 for wildcard, + 5 for getting to the final, +5 for a title- I think, and will check to make certain).
Seeing as how some folks are going to be away, we might have to hold off. But once again, this was meant to be a postseason thing. And I'll be checking in regularly from now on.
The real, full FA draft for 2005 players will be in February or March. This current 3 rounder will include ONLY players who received cards (of any kind, not just TSN) for 2004.

So the rookie callups of 2005 are out then, huh (sorry Felix)???
Guess I'll have to come in last again so I can REALLY rebuild!!!
PS I just printed my own card of Felix Hernandez for 2004 so based on your ruling that should make him eligible then, right Mike? :P

Sorry sandlot, but yeah, 2005 callups have to wait. Remember though, that draft picks are tradeable, so if you do happen to move up the standings/down in the draft order, you can always try and move back up.
Or, if you manage to make your own Felix Hernandez card AND get SOM to retroactively add him to the 2004 set, then you can have him (I'd say you earned him at that point). :mrgreen:
