Wow, that was a pretty good team - you had terrible luck I think. Andruw Jones in particular should have been much better. Nice season for Hampton

Melhuse has been giving me decent numbers for the price in a platoon with J Molina.

Thru 51 games in US Cell:
Melhuse, Adam S C 4(+1)e1 109 13 28 11 0 6 15 5 25 0 0 3 .257 .290 .523 3R .85M

nothing fantastic, but considering he has really low dp's for a catcher, at least he isn't huritng me that much batting 8th. Especially vs righties:

vs. R 91 26 11 0 6 15 4 21 .286 .316 .604

just out of curiousity, why would you spend so much on mccann, especially with a minute maid in your division? especially if you platoon mccann, that is over 2M towards a lefty platoon.

also, with a minute maid in your division, why go with gonzalez on a team where the relief pitching will be highly over-worked as is? i would think that you would want more of an even pitcher (esp since coors is relatively even) so you could get more innings out of your number 2 rp. IMO, mgonzalez isnt a good choice if hes in minute maid against all righties for 24 games of the season.

i say all this only knowing your park and 1 other park though...
