The team is winning but I don't think optimally. I know the lineup could be better but the obvious, to me, didn't work. It has progressed to:

L/R
Cuyler/Gehringer
Rolfe/Meusel
Speaker
Meusel/Cuyler
McCormick/Berra
Berra/McCormick
MacDougald/Rolfe
Gehringer/MacDougald

As you can see it's FUBAR. The div is really tight with three of us dwapping 1st darn near on a daily basis. Right and Left splits are really wacky for average and OBP on most of the guys.

It's in for tonight. But I gotta tell ya. Even this lineup looks like it was drawed out of a hat. It's just a weird mix of players. Thank MidTenn.

I would say lead Gehringer off both ways since most of his OBP comes from walks. Speaker is a great #2 hitter.

Gehringer
Speaker
Cuyler
Berra
Meusel
McCormick
Rolfe
Mcdougald

Suggested previously:

Kiki
Rolfe
Speaker
Meusel/Berra
McCormick
Berra/Meusel
McDougald
Gehringer

G-man is too slow for lead-off, Speaker's and Rolfe's 2Bs will drive home Kiki. Kiki is set to "Steal More"

BTW, you suggested Meusel hitting 3rd for me on a couple of Sportsman's teams I have, this has worked out well, his output picked up! As an alternative, try it here in front of Kiki and Speaker

Kiki
Speaker
Meusel
etc

I have had terrible luck leading off with Gehringer! But then again, I'm usually in Polo.

LOL. I think I got it. We're all pretty much agreed that Speaker needs to hit third and MacDougald hits 7 or 8. Berra needs to hit 4 or 5. The rest of the guys I could pull out of a hat. I can't put my finger on what makes this lineup so weird but it is. They won 2 out of 3 last night MidTenns lineup. I'll stick with it until I lose a series then go to the next one. Maybe in a week or so they'll sort themselves out.

Jesus JUMA. You'd have brought a gas can to the Chicago fire.
