Couple observations (not pro or con, just thoughts....)
- Aren't the "lightening leagues" already accomodated with the CD-Rom version? I know I've seen posts where people have loaded up their CD version with the rosters that are in a league, and run like 50 simulations to see the results.
- The one game a night and full season per night are about as polar opposite as it gets. One is to give more game by game matchup control, the other completely takes that away.
Personally, I like the current version. There still could be some more intuitive tweeks/additions to settings to address matchups, without having to go to a one game a night version. As for the lightning league...I think I'd kind of feel cheated...like I just gave $5 or whatever amount, to instantaneously see a full season's final standings. For me, there's nothing like getting up and going through the boxscores of results each morning (make that several boxscores for several leagues)...watching streaks develop, slumps, etc.., all unfold day by day, 21 games a week!
